Our Mission:
To improve the lives of the disadvantaged through quality, inclusive education
Who We Are
For over a decade, Partners in Education Ethiopia (Partners) has been working hand-in-hand with local communities, governments, universities, hospitals and global partners to expand access to, and quality of, education in Ethiopia.
What began with one school has grown into a broad movement transforming learning environments and lives.

Our work in action
From constructing schools to supporting inclusive education and digital learning, Partners focuses on nine core areas that together build stronger, healthier communities.
Our Story
“It is critically important for women to be educated.”
That belief shaped the life of Frances G. Cosco, a teacher and feminist before her time — and inspired her son, David Cosco, and his wife, Gina, to establish a charitable organization in her name.
In 2015, the Frances G. Cosco Foundation was registered as a charity in both Canada and Ethiopia. Four years later, it became Partners in Education Ethiopia and was registered in the US. Now, in 2025, it reflects a decade of growth, collaboration, and commitment to equitable education.
Partners and Collaboration
Our work is built on collaboration — with local communities, government education offices, universities, hospitals, and global partners who share our vision for equitable education in Ethiopia. Together, we co-design and deliver projects that meet national standards, strengthen teacher training, and ensure long-term sustainability.
How to Support
Help us continue building opportunities for students across Ethiopia.
Your contribution directly funds classrooms, teacher training, and inclusive health and education initiatives that change lives.
